Expert Pool Enclosure Installation in Horizon West, Florida
Welcome to Horizon West, one of Central Florida’s most vibrant and fastest-growing communities. While living in this beautiful area offers incredible perks—from proximity to world-class theme parks to stunning lakeside views—it also comes with the unique challenges of the Florida climate. At Superior Aluminum Installations, we specialize in helping homeowners reclaim their outdoor living spaces with professional pool enclosure installation in Horizon West.
A pool is a significant investment, but without a high-quality pool cage or screen, you might find yourself spending more time cleaning it than enjoying it. Our custom-built aluminum pool enclosures are designed to provide a seamless transition between your home and the outdoors, offering protection from pests, debris, and the intense Florida sun.
Why Horizon West Homeowners Choose Pool Enclosures
If you have recently moved into a new development in Horizon West, you likely know that the local environment is teeming with life. While we love the natural beauty of Orange County, we could all do without the mosquitoes, wasps, and midges that congregate around water. A pool screen in Horizon West acts as a permanent barrier against these unwanted guests, allowing you to enjoy a late-night swim without the bite.
Beyond pest control, a pool cage in Horizon West offers several key advantages:
- UV Protection: Our screens help filter out a portion of the sun’s harsh UV rays, protecting your skin and preventing your patio furniture from fading prematurely.
- Safety and Security: Enclosures provide an extra layer of security, keeping unauthorized visitors and local wildlife away from your pool area. This is especially important for families with small children.
- Reduced Maintenance: Tired of skimming leaves, twigs, and grass clippings out of your pool? An enclosure keeps the water cleaner for longer, reducing the strain on your filtration system and saving you money on chemicals.
- Temperature Regulation: By providing shade, an enclosure can keep the pool deck significantly cooler during those sweltering July afternoons.
The Superior Aluminum Installations Difference
As a leading contractor for Horizon West outdoor living solutions, Superior Aluminum Installations brings decades of experience to every project. We understand that a pool enclosure is not just a utility; it is an architectural extension of your home. That is why we offer a variety of styles, including gable, mansard, and hip roof designs, to match the aesthetic of your property.
We use only high-grade aluminum and premium screening materials to ensure your enclosure can withstand the high winds and heavy rains typical of Central Florida. Our team handles everything from the initial 3D rendering and design phase to the final inspection, ensuring that your project complies with all permits and regulations for screen enclosures in Orlando and the Horizon West area.
Custom Features for Your Horizon West Pool Cage
Every home is unique, and your pool enclosure should be too. We offer several customization options to enhance your outdoor experience:
- Picture Window Openings: Also known as “clear view” sections, these large spans of screen without vertical supports allow for an unobstructed view of the Horizon West sunsets or your backyard landscaping.
- Pet-Resistant Screening: If you have furry friends, we can install heavy-duty screens that resist tears and punctures.
- Privacy Screening: For homes located in high-density neighborhoods, we offer Florida glass or privacy mesh that allows airflow while blocking the view from neighbors.
If you are looking to expand your outdoor living space beyond just the pool area, we also offer screen room installations in Horizon West to provide a bug-free zone for dining and relaxation.
The Installation Process: What to Expect
Starting a construction project can feel overwhelming, but we make the process as smooth as possible. It begins with a free consultation where we measure your space and discuss your vision. Once the design is finalized, we secure the necessary building permits from Orange County. Our professional crew then arrives to install the concrete footers (if needed) and the aluminum frame. Finally, we install the screen and doors, ensuring every joint is tight and every panel is secure.
We take pride in our clean job sites and our commitment to finishing projects on time. We know you are eager to get back into the water, and we work efficiently to make that happen.

FAQs About Our Screen Rooms Services
What is the main difference between a sunroom and a screen room?
The biggest difference is windows vs. screens.
- A Screen Room uses mesh screens to let the breeze in while keeping bugs, leaves, and debris out. It’s an ideal way to enjoy the fresh air in comfort.
- A Sunroom is a true home addition with glass windows, insulation, and climate control (air conditioning and heat). It’s a year-round living space that adds square footage and value to your home.
Can your structures withstand a hurricane?
Absolutely. This is one of our top priorities. All of our sunrooms, screen rooms, and pool enclosures are custom-engineered to meet or exceed the stringent Florida Building Code requirements for wind resistance in the Orlando area. We build for durability and your family’s safety.
Will a sunroom get too hot to use in the Florida summer?
Not with our modern materials! We use high-performance, insulated glass with special coatings that block harmful UV rays and significantly reduce heat transfer. Paired with insulated roof panels and your home’s A/C, your sunroom will be a comfortable oasis even on the hottest Orlando days.
Do I need a permit for a sunroom or pool enclosure?
Yes, in almost all cases, a building permit from your local city or county (like Orange County or the City of Orlando) is required. But don’t worry—we handle the entire permitting process for you, from submitting the plans to scheduling final inspections. It’s part of our complete, hassle-free service.
What about my Homeowners' Association (HOA)?
Most HOAs have specific guidelines for additions like sunrooms and enclosures. We are very experienced in working with Central Florida HOAs and can provide the necessary drawings and design specifications you need to submit for their approval.
How long does the installation process take?
Once all permits and any HOA approvals are secured, the on-site construction is surprisingly fast. A typical screen room or pool enclosure can be built in 1 to 2 weeks. A glass sunroom may take 2 to 4 weeks. The permitting phase can vary, but we work diligently to keep your project moving forward.
